Information stored on your device

Redactle Rush stores your anonymous player id, theme preference, current game, completed history, score, guesses, and timing data in your browser. Game history is stored in IndexedDB.

Information sent to the server

When a daily is completed, the app may send an anonymous result record containing the puzzle id, player id, score, timing data, and game state. Reports you submit include the round id, selected reason, guesses, and optional comment.

Analytics

Redactle Rush uses Google Analytics to measure aggregate gameplay events such as page views, completed rounds, hints, game completion, and shares.

Wikipedia content

The app fetches public Wikipedia summary data for article excerpts and reveal images. Those requests may be cached by the app infrastructure to keep the game fast.
